my son has less than 30 min on his jato with 3 crashes, all front crashes. and many parts. i got some non jato bumpers i will try some custom stuff. iam thinking of cutting up some junk tires into bumpers. my son can break a rock with a rubber hammer. what think?

Maybe replace the jato with a much slower rig till he learns how to drive. Jatos are pretty darn fast and not at all a good beginner rig.

Slower rig wouldnt hurt or RPM bumper may help...I've put mine through high speed crash after high speed crash and its still in one piece. doesn't always save the front end from damage but it sure has reduced it.

oh ya great ideas. i will hunt some memory foam. and slowing the engine will be easy. i think ill put the good break on his jato. at first he didnt want ANY mods, BUT i think the good break is a must. i just checked and i found that i bought a bunch of front bumper parts. some RPM, rest traxxas. time to mix and match. thanks for the good help.

Aren't all your kids full grown men, wouldn't be hard to teach him throttle control and brake control.

but some kids dont grow up as fast as they should. did you?

This should help stiffen the front. Pair it with RPM arms and a T-Bone bumper, it may be near indestructible.
