Someone stole my CC...

Bastards! I havent even used this card in a year just been trying to get it paid off. I get a email from bank of america saying there has been suspicious activity on it. So I call em up and sure enough someone charged over 400 dollars in stuff from paypal and some other thing... I got them to take all the charges off and close the account though. Luckily this one ended good. Just thought id let you guys know. I said I took that card off my paypal months ago and read off my paypal activity so he was like well sounds like someone stole your number somehow. I wish I knew who it was....

hey, at least you got your stuff back, i went to the movies yesterday, and the mall , left the mall went to the movies that are right next to the mall and when i got out and halfway home i realized i lost my wallet. went back and searched for an hour, nothing. it only had 15 cash in it and a 10 walmart gift card, and my bank card with 900 in it. i called the bank to get the card cancelled luckily no one used it. it was a nice wallet too

Not saying it is the best alternative but this is why I use prepaid debit cards and cash. Though you did get the good end of it, I am sure you feel deeply violated. It sucks big time when people try to take advantage of ya like that. Also to add to this, my company just informed me that a shipment of data had been lost during its trip from one location to another. This info had my all personal data including stock info and social. They say it shouldn't be anything I should worry about but I should buy this insurance on it that may not guarantee squat.
Oh well... at least everything came out okay for ya.
