Whoever has the money to buy that is one lucky mofo, because I have never seen one with that many hop ups go for that cheap. Its like the same price as a Savage 25 RTR, except this has tons of hop ups! Its crazy! Its insane! Its mad! I'm mad I dont have the money to buy it now!

in the auction it says
I'm Re-selling because the last auction the reserve didnt work for some reason and i was out of town....I will be in town for the auction period and will respond to emails promplty!

Yeah Lykan is right, his feedback looks like a rip-off. If you click on his rating, you will actually see that he sold the same truck twice and this makes the third time. I would definitely stay away, unless you got some $$$ to lose. If that is the case, PM me and I can give you my Paypal address. (only kidding).

2 negatives in a 12 month period does not seem like a good feedback rating to me. I've been buyer and seller on e-bay for over 4 years and have zero negative feedback.

I'm not sure if your new to eBay but usually you are supposed to arrage that before ending the auction. Cuz if he doesn't want to ship to the UK he is now out the money for posting that auction and creating a new post. Just an FYI.

Definately. E-bay does not take well to trying to mess with seller's minds.

I wonder why the seller received bad feedback from the last time and replied that the issue was resolved with e-bay but waited 4 days after that to leave bad feedback for the buyer. Definately very very fishy.
 
just stay away form that savage, all its asking is bad news. i have been conned on ebay before and its a damn mess to clean up. :jet:
 
I e-mailed that seller,and asked why his reserve was confused and why he didn't take the previous $515.00 bid he received neg. feedback on.His reply was to dodge the question and say the buyers were just confused kids.Sounds to me like he was confused.

Damn, that guy sure likes GPM parts. That's a bad truck. I wonder why he's really selling it.
 
A certain UK member here PMd me 4-5 times asking about this truck and if it was a good deal. I repeatedly told him to look at the feedback of the user and not to trust doing business with him.

Feedback on sellers is for the most part accurate and should be a deciding factor when making a purchase on e-bay or any other community. Take a look a the feedback the UK purchaser gave on that sale. Why would we think it would be any different.....

I don’t remember PMing you asking if it was a good deal. Anyone could see it was a good deal if he sent it or not was another Q?
The only PM`s I sent where asking if u in the USA could tell me how much shipping would be for that auction. I also posted this https://www.rcnitrotalk.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=17283 The only one to help me with this was El Pirate (Thanks m8) but it turned out in the end he was honest about shipping costs. The truck turned up in good time.

I then started striping the truck down and I found screws missing and some other little bits (wow no big problem ill just replace them while I'm rebuilding) the only thing that pissed me off is he did not send the temp gun so I e-mail him this

Ok I got the truck to day just a couple of things though
1: there are lots of screws missing and lot of screws in the wrong places
2: there was no temp gun

All I can say is if this truck had gone to a newbie in R/C then they would
Not no where to start with fixing it. I know what I'm doing and it will still
Take me a week or so to get the entire bit and fix this truck so all I ask is
For a little money back because of poor condition and missing temp gun


But in all this truck cost me $700 which is only £379.445 GBP
so all in all I got I good fu*ing deal if u think about all the other stuff I got.plus the work that he had done on the engine is sweet cuz this truck is fast a fiddlesticks
