look for my orange and black revo....It's custom and i like the tires and rims but how do they look together... If someone out there has this combo please tell me and post a pic... Also, will they perfectly fit together because there both 40 series but i'm not 100% sure they will work.... I'm new so bear with me...LOL

it dosent... wats a better road tire then.... I'm only making a show kinda car but ima only hit small jumps and do speed runs and just have fun on on-road tracks with it....NO OFF-ROAD WITH IT WHEN ITS DONE!!!!!!

Being that thats one of the only 40 series on road tires, theres really not many other options. I had a set of those on an rc10gt2 that I had a few years back, and even though they were only the 2.2 size the tread was the same. Once the truck got to speed they were ok on asphalt, not all that great on concrete or "dirty" street surfaces. Any way you look at it they are going to slide with a big monster truck, and if the engine is a strong runner they are gonna slip on take off, but they arn't too bad for just messing around on the local track, especially once your up to speed.

Here is a video of the same set-up with different rims...

I have the same tires on my revo, and what was said about concrete is true, but they grab alright but they don't have the snappy handling that you would think would have, a better street tire is the HPI PHALTLINE, Just my opinion
