ok iw anna solder some AA's together but i dont want to damage them. they are 2300 mah rechargables an di wanna make a pack for my car. but what do i do to solder them together? i know i eed ot make them a series but is there like a special technique to soldering batterys so i dont fry them?

Well the key to soldering anything is to have a clean surface and to tin your surface and whatever you are trying to solder on. I recommend using No Clean flux and solder. Anything else you risk corrosion. nDon't let your gun heat up the surface too long. You can kill your batteries. You may not see it immediatly but latent defects are very possible.

Soldering

When making battery packs I always prep the surface to solder using sand paper(not needed mind you),after I clean the surfaces.Second the soldering gun MUST be hot or you will keep it longer on the battery and may damage it from overheating.

The tabs and wires are prepped before too, with solder. After a fast heating and voila the two hold and will hold unless you smash your ride :hammer:

Not to forget a good soldering iron like the Hakko 936 also helps :2cents:
