Yesterday, I bit the bullet on a brushless system. I'll give ya a hint...it's big, it's destructive (like me :D ), and it's GREEN.

Yes, ladies and germs..its the Mamba Monster Maxx!

My E-Revo will never be the same.

Pic's will be up later tonight, I'm goin to get drunk.

Happy Cinco drink-o day folks, be safe!

It's the 2200KV model and for now, unfortunatly it'll be powered with my 4500 7 cell packs. And the worst part of it all is lack of FM or 2.4 radio system, but I have some creative idea's as to how to deal with that stuff, hehe...

Update!!!

Okay, so here's the update!

Finally got it all installed and set up.

I have the ESC mounted with ultra duty servo tape and am waiting for the Traxxas ESC mount, which should be in sometime this May.

This thing is scary!! Even on cheap 7 cell packs, it rips! Check it out.

I'm running a 15t pinion with the 68t spur. CC gave me an 18t pinion with the kit that I wanna put on, but I'm unsure of the temps that it will bring me. I'm going to be racing next weekend and I want to be able to keep this motor around for awhile. Anyone know what gearing I should run to keep the temps in check while giving me good speed?

Thanks Ya'll.

I would say get your self a temp gun and run it with different pinion gears to see what kind of temps you get, just bring it in every few minutes and see how it is doing , just find out what the proper temp rnge is for youe ESC and motor and as long as you keep it under that you will be good to go, it is going to just a matter of trying out the different size pinions until you get it where it needs to be safe.

I got a handle on the gearing now.

Now I just gotta get the suspension tacked up.

I'm running my E-Revo's suspension to mimic the Platinum Edition Revo, yet every time I took a jump or crossed the rhythm section at the track yesterday, it seemed as if there was a brick on the front end. I just couldn't keep it from endo'ing, kart wheeling, and barrel rolling.

You may want to try some stiffer springs and/or heavier oil in the shocks. Otherwise it sounds like a lot of fun. One of these days I'll be converting my Revo to electric.
