Smoking Motor

I have an Ofna Titan with a .25 motor. After a few minutes of driving my truck, the head starts smoking. I broke it in properly according to the manual. After it starts smoking, the motor gets weak and keeps dieing, I am sure its over heating, but what could be causing this. I tune it to run as rich as possible, as I lean it out, it stalls more. Any advice or places in so cal that will tune my car for me?

Have you checked the headbolts are all snug? Have you checked the glow plug is properly seated WITH the brass washer?

Please verify this so we can help to isolate what the problem may be.

Yes, but the smoke is comming out around the glow plug area. It is seated with the brass washer. Its on tight enough it won't come undone, but not cranked on

Can you remove it and check the washer to inspect it? It may be worn out.

The brass washer? It looks to be in good condition. I will try a new plug and washer this weekend though to see if that solves anything.

I have one at work, I will check temps this week. Whats an acceptable temp range?

220-280 is what most run with a steady temp around 250 for decent running.
