I have a Snap-On edition Smart-tech Nitro truck.. It ran fine then i messed the clutch up and after i got it fixed, the truck has never ran correctly. It will start, run for a couple minutes, then it shuts off. Any help would be greatly helpful. Thanks!

Need more info has it been put away for any lenght of time, did any settings get changed, did you install the clutch right. As soon as you can describe the problem a little more in detail will try to give you some help.:D

It sat for about a week until i took it to a hobby shop. They fixed the clutch but broke the back pressure tube off the gas tank. They replaced it with a traxxas tank. I never got the truck to run aftr and let it sit for about a year. I decided to work on it and took apart the motor and reassembled it. I adjusted the carb and it started right up. I adjusted it to were it would idle nice but as soon as i run it for about 5 minutes it cuts out. The truck ran great until i took it to that shop (found out they had no clue what they were doing and shut down) could it be a motor problem? Or maybe with the fuel? I used older fuel in it when i got it to run again. Or maybe even a back pressure tube hole?

For what its worth make sure the fuel lines dont have any cuts or holes in them.Make sure the lid is sealing on the tank.Does it rev up before it dies out.Try riching up your high speed needle a 1/8 turn at a time see if that makes a difference.see what happens. It wouldn't hurt to get some fresh fuel if the stuff you have is real old.

It will rev up but will die if i rev it up quickly. The tank is brand new but ill will have to check the lines. I think a visit to my local hobby shop for a glowplug and fuel will be in order. Would traxxas parts work on it?

You'll have to compare parts if you need something take the old part with and match it up.A lot of times you can cross breed parts thats how you can get better ones many times just need to know what your looking at.Good luck hope you make some progress on it.:D It sounds like it might be leaning out try riching that mixture it should help.
