So with some reading i have done on here about this brand i thought isit really that bad....so along came ebay and as if by magic it came to my door. Opened it up....build quality wasn't the greatest but its perfectly fine for the price and for the people its aimed at..Tightened up the screws added some batteries and some fuel and started it up....started up first time using BT 20%, did a quick break in,about 6 tanks or so. took it out to the park and let it rip. I must say i was impressed, i dont know if its coz all i seem to read on here is bad stuff about it that actually made it rather good. Been runnin it for a month or so now and here are all my breakages - 0. Not one thing has broke, i mean i have been jumping it, flipping it, donuts, running straight into kerbs and trees (who puts them in the way!!) i thought id bent a suspension arm but it wasn't so the spring had come up and got stuck, easily pulled down. Its quite nippy too, i was racing some guys in the park (dont know what they had) and taking them with some ease. To cut a long story shorter i think that this has completely changed my opinion of these cars, and i think we should remember what type of RC'er they are aimed at, the new ones with a limited budget. I must say though, i was quite impressed, i mean i am not into it like some of you guys are but for the people who use them like myself i think they would be a good buy. I'm gonna give it to my nephew so he can start messing around with it. Also the talk about spares and lack there of. The guy i bought it off has every part in stock so no worries about getting hold of any. Just thought i would write in and let people know what i think........

You must have got the good one of the bunch. Nothing but horror stories is all I've heard about and seen. Glad you have good luck with it, but your alot more daring buying one then I would have.. From what I hear, its a real pain to get parts for, so try to keep on, not breaking anything..hehe...

Where did you get it,I think I'm willing to give it a chance,if it breaks, well it will be a expensive shooting target.

i was just doin the usual ebay jaunt and came across it. just search 4 one..

Nitro I would do some reaserch on it firts before ya spend the money. Honestly he is the 1st guy out of ALOT that I've heard have good luck with one.

yea, I have heard that those cars can be a paint in the butt because no hobby shops really carry any compatible parts. You would have to order from the manufacturer. Glad that it is working out for you, I just dont think I am going to take that chance.

you can get parts for them here in the usa ,
http://www.excelhobby.com/excel_hobby_001.htm

and so you know if you do and i am sure in time you will break something ,everyone does reguardless the car/truck/buggy
the dogbones in the rs4 electric will fit perfect
but never got into the diffs my son still needs them

yea, then thats better. As long as that store/site stays up and running, I think it should be fine.
