hi

if i loosen the slipper off a 1/4 turn, the slipper slips badly.
could this be due to the pegs being worn?

i have just ordered a new spur and slipper pegs (do you know if they come in packs of 12?)

bit short and sweet but thats all i can think of at the moment. (probably remember other things i wanted to ask as soo n as i click the 'submit new thread' button:) )

well for 3.50 they should give you 12! (about 6 dollars)

and i would of thought that me having the slipper done up fully and landing of a jump even with no throttle can strip a tooth off the spur? (or even the wheels lifting slightly off the ground at WOT)

does anyone else find that when you have the FOC installed the spur doesn't spin freely when you stop? ( i know the reason why)

but it does on say a savage with just forward gears?

i think this puts alot of strain on the gears as coming to a complete stop with powerfull brakes can strip the spur. (or is it just me having the slipper done up tight?)

thanks

I don't get what your saying about the savage... My savage works the same way as my maxx did with an FOC. Both spin freely in one direction and move the drive train in the other direction.

if you hit the brakes hard on the maxx, and come to a stop, the spur stops with the car.

if you hit the brakes hard on a savage, and come to a stop, doesn't the spur continue moving?

I don't remember... I haven't driven the savage in a while... but it does react the same way my t-maxx did when it's on the table. Turning one way moves the tires, turning the other way just turns the spur.
