Hey, Guys, got the new clutch for the clutch bell on, put it all back together, and it ran great, until the slipper clutch keeps backing it self out. Anyone know what would cause this?

The lack of lok-tite. If the nut that you have on there is a bit worn you will sometimes have to put on a bit of tread lock. I have one Savage that is like that. I am just too lazy to buy a new nut for it. No big deal really. Just don't use soo much you can't get it back off!....lol

Thats what my step dad said. He is getting me a new nut tommorow, so what will solve the problem?

Yeah James it should but I still loc-tite mine on my Maxx even though it has a new nut on it.....for some reason it likes to spin off.....aaargh what a PITA.

I just went to the local hardware store and found nylon locking nuts that matched the thread and bought a dozen for like 38 cents each.
