Okay, what adjustments do what for the slipper clutch? I have read the manual but nothing tells me which way minimizes slipping. Tighten does or loosen. Any tips, and what are your settings?

Tighten the nut on the slipper to reduce slippage and loosen to increase slippage. I run mine a quarter turn back from full tight.

Agreed. If you read the manual, it tells you how/where to run it. I run mine the same: Full tight, (clockwise) then backed off (counter clockwise) 45*, or 1/4 turn.

I run mine a half turn from fully tight. I find that on loose surfaces it helps keep the rear in check if I get too hard on the throttle.
