No but my neighbor across the street put a set on his XL. It made it look like some kind of oversized roller skate.
 
I didn't something similar on my revo... looked stupid and drove weird. I used 1/8 buggy rims/tires since I had installed 17mm hubs on my slayer when it was still a slayer.

Made it bottom out really hard on take off and landing when you jumped it, but it was tough to traction roll it when cornering hard.

Yeah man. I run 2.2 Mashers on my original E Maxx. Too broke to build it up and all I have to power it is a Velenion system. With half the rotating mass it was designed to handle it's twice as stout.:) Motor and esc stays in a safe temp range too.
