I didn't something similar on my revo... looked stupid and drove weird. I used 1/8 buggy rims/tires since I had installed 17mm hubs on my slayer when it was still a slayer.
With revo arms:
Made it bottom out really hard on take off and landing when you jumped it, but it was tough to traction roll it when cornering hard.
Actually, I did it because I was waiting on my tires/rims to ship and I wanted to make sure everything was working so when they did show up, I could just throw them on and go without much fuss.
Yeah man. I run 2.2 Mashers on my original E Maxx. Too broke to build it up and all I have to power it is a Velenion system. With half the rotating mass it was designed to handle it's twice as stout. Motor and esc stays in a safe temp range too.
