After a long evening of homework I needed a break cruised the slash up and down the road set up a ramp hit it a few times landing smooth. On the last time it landed on the way back to me I could tell something was wrong it seems as if the motor was stripped and grinds when I hit the throttle. The slash will move but it doesn't sound right and doesn't move like it should. How could this of happened what should I do. Very new to electrics.:\

If u didnt mesh the spur correctly out of the box, it iss probably stripped, traxxas has a problem with doing that.

did the truck ever land square on its ass? if so, the motor could have shifted a bit causing the rubbing/grinding noise. if thats not it, check the gear mesh. its possible you have a pebble or stone stuck.

Needs a new spur gear (or whatever you call it on electrics) to check hold the spur gear with your fingers and give it some throttle. If the motor turns without the gear I'd bet it's damaged.

You can just look and see if it is damage. TONS of people have had that problem from traxxas packaging.
