First thing is check all the wire connections on the receiver and if it's crystal'd make sure the crystal has not come loose. Your batteries are good,right?

Did you wreck on the road and get part of the antenna cut off?
How about water, I've had glitching problems in the past as a result of wet electronics.

I guess something was wrong with the receiver. I put a spare in it an now its ok. Thanks guys!

I've had several traxxas rx's go bad, atleast their jeep to replace though.
