Anyone been messing around with set-ups?

I'm messing around with the rear roll center today, trying to get the front to "pull" around the corner a little better.
I'm running everything stock, parts wise. Haven't changed the shock oil yet, but you guys have already talked about what oils to use.... Also changed the shock mounting points.. Thanks for any tips.....:thumbup1:

Does the Slash 4x4 have gear diffs in it? If so, thicker oil in the front diff will help accomplish what you are trying to do. Similarly, lighter oil in the rear diff will help also. The lighter rear diff oil will make the rear "follow" the front. Too heavy of an oil in the rear will act like a spool and make the truck rotate much harder. Try pulling your rear sway bar off too, that should also help your cause.

Yeah, it has gear diffs. I will try the oil after I get to play with the roll center a little...No sway bars, at least when it's stock...I hit a pallett at work, sheared the left front off....Ugghhhh !!! Have to wait to get a new A-arm and shock tube....

The sway bars from the Platinum make a huge difference in cornering on a 4x4.

Jerry...

I'm running c diff and silver sways worked well at the track stock tires allow for alot of front end push. i swiitched to the black sways i will give those a try in a few days

I'm trying to cure a loose-off condition with my 4x4 Slash SE. This weekend gonna try to lower the rear roll center by moving the rear inner camber links to the lower hole. 2nd adjustment will be to try it without (or softened) rear swaybars.

How is the stock suspension setup compared to the stock 2wd? Do they roll over if you look at them wrong like the 2wd? lol.
