The OS 15 is a side exhaust engine. What carb do you have? Rotary or slide?
If you have an old 15 pro maxx (the original with engine that has side exhaust/rotary carb) and your also using a rotary carb on your OS, you will need new throttle linkage, the throttle pivot and post, a stock 2.5 maxx exhaust header and I'd suggest a new exhaust pipe.
You may also need a new flywheel nut for the TRX2.5: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDDR3&P=M
I'm guessing this is the engine your asking about?

Oh, and yes, a .15ci = 2.5cc. Keep mind mind that just because the TRX2.5 is the same "size" as the OS15, they are completely different engines that required completely different parts to use one or the other. The red dot picco is intended to be a drop in for the TRX2.5.
I just got a rotostarter tonight; I will upgrade the motor after I figure out how to work this one. I will buy some of those plugs you mentioned. Can I run with this throttle setup? I thought it looked different as well. I don’t have anything to start this truck. This is how it came with a few extra tires, that’s it. what starter are you talking about.; I guess I still need a glow starter, is that the starter you mentioned.Do you not have the starter itself?
You might find that the engine isn't enough for that truck. IMHO, a 15 is too small for a t-maxx in stock form and definitely too small for one with lots of aluminum.
I'm not real sure why, but the throttle servo has been moved and is the way for you to use a more conventional pipe. It should go in the front of the transmission, but will require you to use the 2.5/3.3 throttle pivot and post along with new linkage wires.
That said, I've always had good luck with OS #3 and #8 plugs in small blocks.
I think this starter will work with that:

FYI, your engine appears to be a side exhaust/slide carb engine. Not sure what kind of crankshaft it has though (short/standard/pilot).
