I just put my Traxxas resonator pipe on today on my T-Maxx 3.3, and like it seems to jump out of gear at idol. the gear is spinning, but the truck won tmove, when i stop the spur from spinning with a flathead screw driver, it will jump back into gear, what the hell?

no, thats going from first to second gear, mine is idle to first gear. different problem.

Yea, I've tried that, if the clutch were engaging, wouldnt that cause the vehicle to roll forward? It just sits there.

Hmmm. Check you slipper clutch, then. If it's spinning, and the truck's not moving, it might need to be tightened up. If it's tight, you'll need to start checking the drive train. Axles, hubs and pins, hexes, driveshafts and the trans.

Also check that the reverse servo isn't halfway. If the little reverse toggle is only halfway in then it won't fully engage the gears.

yea, i think its the servo on the reverse thing, when i hit the brake, it looks like it is pulling the "litle toggle" halfway thus taking it out of gear.......How do i stop that?

If it wont engage after you shifted to or from reverse, your idle is too high, causing your centrifugal clutch to engage when the trany is in neutral. This wont allow the collar to slide over the clutch. when you stop the spur gear is stops the gear from turning and allows the collar to slide over the clutch and

it's not really idl'ing that high, it was much higher before and working perfectly. Should i go with the forward only conversion kit?

Just. Called my LHS, said sure we got the kit. Got there, "Oh, i didnt realize that the 3.3 tmaxx uses the revo tranny. sorry. ill get one in eventually." so kinda aggravated and stuck with the reverse thing for now. What if i unplug my reverse servo, will that make a difference?

You just won't have reverse. The FOC actually changes the gears in the tranny. If you do though just make sure to push in the little metal switch that the reverse servo hooks up to on the tranny.
