Hey,
I had a NIB Sirio .27 pro that I got on a trade and sold to a good bashing bud. Sirio builds engines for raw top end speed and it's all a trade off. The two engines are really apples and oranges aside from similar displacement. My friend is very happy with the top end power of the SIro .27 and says that it's "hard to control @ top speeds".
I haven't run the Werks engine but I've run plenty of Wasp .26's and the almost clone OFNA Picco Outlaw .26. If you look @ a Dyno chart for the Picco .26 the torque curve drops off right in the middle. It's got tons of low end and mid range torque but still has good top end power. If you wanna do a allot of HSR's and other top speed stuff in your Savage then the Sirio .27 may be your engine. For hill climbing, bashing ect. the .26 is the way to go IMO. Not to mention that Savages are built for drag racing..lol.
FYI....My buddy is running a MOD'd Wasp .26 in a Maxx and it's insanely powefull. If you slam the throttle with high gearing it will flip on it's lid without a wheelie bar. He dragged raced my bud with the Sirio .27 and he smoked his ass. I'll be running a Mod'd .26 in my big bore Maxx.
