did anyone ever put sirio's crankshaft, piston and sleeve in the trx2.5 or 2.5r? i am rebuilding a friend's trx 2.5 and he got the sirio parts for it and i can't wait to see how it runs compared to the new 3.3. i think it will be close.
it's definately different...but you still end up w/ a cheap case/bearings and Carb after it's all said and done....that setup is really only worht it (IMO) if you are racing a stock class and you want to cheater a lil .....
yea but oh well, the trx 3.3 uses same bearings, case is a little bit different but the 2.5 bearings should hold up to it. lol i just like the idea of a trx2.5 that appears to be stock, beating someones new 3.3 tmaxx. i will see what happens with it and let you know.
I don't see that happening for the simple fact that the sirio .18 won't beat the new 3.3. The 3.3 has more power then the os .18 tm, and if the sirio would out perform either of those then that is what racers would be using. Just my .02
Eggzactly....this is the only reason i thought it would be cool.....I've seen one and it was pretty mean..... but the pricetag is/was really stupid imo.....

You do know that they are talking about the sirio parts made for the 2.5 right? Its a pretty cool idea, and i thought about doing it myself, but i never got around to it... I saw the review in an rc car action wayyy back.
I remember hearing about that. I also ran against one with my Savage 25. Thing was very impressive. The driver was saying how he beat me so much with a 15... NOT I wasn't even going out to beat him. His friend ratted him out afterwards. He said he dropped in the Sirio parts in it. Driver was an ass but the ride was impressive.
