I just bought a new sirio .27 racer today($325).....
.I'm putting it in my savage......I was wondering if anybody has seen one in action? If so how was it?

thanks

Try doing a search for it as I know of one person that uses it in his buggy. He says it is wicked fast .. almost too fast. I have seen the sirio 27 in a MGT and that thing is insane fast.

Thats kool that you got a new engine. I am getting a new one also for my savage but I dont know wich one to get yet. Let me know how that one works for you.

Got one in my Savage......wonderful engine....awful pull start and OWB.

Before you attempt to run it, take the pullstart off and enlarge the knots at both ends to the pullcord, otherwise they will pull through within the 1st couple of tugs.

And clean the OWB otherwise it slips constantly.

somebody told me its ganna be hard to hold the front down of my savage with this engine....hell thats fine with me though.

:wasted:

I have one in an mt and have seen one in action in a Savage. What was said is 100% correct. You will find that it has quite a bit more power than what comes stock in the Savage or any other stock mt engine for that matter. You can tone it down and get a smoother power band by using 20% instead of 30% if controllability becomes an issue.

What kind of gas do you run in your sirio? Will my stock pipe fit it? if not whats a good pipe for it....

I use a THS pipe and header for my monsters. Also, if you are wanting to tone them down they sell different carb restrictors to tame the savage beast.

well my stock pipe didnt fit so I'm ganna have to order one.....do you know a web site that sells THS pipes?

thanks

you might have header clearance problems the savage has a real tight bend at the beginning of the header ths make a great fit also rd logics
