Good Afternoon Everyone
I hope you are all well and apologies for bothering you.
Would it be possible to advise on whether you've ever heard of an RC brand called SINYIH? I've owned a 1/10 scale RC Subaru Impreza for over 20 years, it's never been used and is still in the box and I'm intrigued to know what peoples thoughts are of them? I can't seem to find much out about them other than they were predominantly made and distributed in Asia so i suspect they weren't very popular. I've attached a few photographs and assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
I look forward to hearing from you and thanks in advance.

Don't know anything about the brand, but a licensed Subaru body and Futaba electronics tells me this was probably a pretty nice kit back in its day.

Also, welcome to the forum!
Thanks for the response and the welcome message its greatly appreciated.

Do you have any ideas who may be interested in this kit and what it may be worth?, I'm moving house and after all these years I can't bring myself to just get rid of it and I don't have room to just store it where I'm going to be moving into.

Many thanks again.

I honestly have no idea. If I were you I would probably list it in an ebay auction starting at $100 for the longest period.

If you took your time selling it, probably could get about about $200-250 for it. But I'm no vintage expert.

Hopefully our vintage collectors can chime in for some input

So this looks to be an Asian brand, and now that I think about it the forum just had the pleasure of a new rally racer joining from Indonesia. @TembemKnight would you happen to know anything about this kit?

Welcome to the site. After some looking, they seemed to be big around 2000 with a decent lineup. They apparently made the old tower hobbies nitro rc from that time and had force engines supply tge hearts if what I read was true. There seems to be a small following with them. They do have patts on ebay, some for outrageous prices. Good luck with tge sale. Looks like an I teresting kit.

Thank you that's great thank you and hopefully others will be able to shed a little light on it. 🙏🤞😃

Wow, thanks for the post, I have to be honest I was really struggling to find anything other than seeing spares on Ebay which looked insanely expensive for a make and RC vehicle that I could find little to nothing referenced. What do you think it would fetch if you were a gambling man? 😃👍🏻

Thank you @Beer_Goggles_RC for mentioning me
When I check this RC (SINYIH), personally, I have never heard of this brand.
In Indonesia, rally cars mostly using electric cars; and nitro only popular with buggy rc

Indonesian Popular Rally RC brand :
- LC racing (PTG2R)
- HNR Foxhound
- Tamiya (TT02, Xv 01 & TT02)
- HSP
- AutoRC AR10
- Rlaarlo XTS F10

Except for Rlaarlo, all these brands are regulated for racing in Indonesia, especially for the wheelbase and width of the car.

The challenge to selling something like this is that it doesn't have a big "market", so even if it's worth $300 and you list it for $200, it still might not sell for weeks just because there's very few "bites."

Pros: New in Box, Subaru Body.

Cons: No replacement parts, would have to drive it like a delicate vintage to avoid rendering it un-driveable and un-fixable in the event of a crash, not a particularly famous brand so little collector value except maybe to someone who had or wanted one as a kid and wants to relive that memory.

If you want to get whatever you can for it, I would list it for $100 starting bid, you'll definitely see bids probably around $150 by day 10. If you can wait, list it for $200 buy-it-now, might take a few months, but it'll sell, maybe even for $250.

Also, the price of nitros increased substantially in the 4 years since I got into them, so it may be worth more than it used to be before that happened.
