good morning ,
gotta quick question ,
a neighbor boy brought me his pede too look at because it was running really slow and sluggish
i found it was the slipper was not adjusted correctly so i did that ,and this thing is gutless hell my mini-t can out run it
what would be the cheapest hop-up motor for this and what turn do i look for?
i ma new to the electric think esp when it comes to dbl turn single turn and turns period i am thinking the higher the turn the higher the torque and it has the stock stinger 20t on it now
the young man gets 20 a week for allowance and i am just trying ot guide him so he has the most fun for the least amount of cash
so any guidance from you guys would be greatly appreciated

thank you
rick

If his truck has the stock xl-1 speed control it can handle down to a 17 turn motor, which is a great mod motor for a pede. For bashing I like the Trinity 17 turn http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJGX1&P=7 you can't beat it for the price IMO. He will need to change his pinion gear to a 14 or 15 tooth with the stock 87 tooth spur gear. This will give it descent speed and torque but keep in mind the Pede is not a speed demon. He could also try a Venom fireball for around $16.00 but it won't last like the trinity will. Your right about the turns on the motor, higher turns = more torque, lower turns = higher speed. :wasted:
