the pics of it are in my gallery.. its got a slew of problems as it was my first car.

1. the engine is totally shot
2 loads of drag in the drive train and i have no clue where it is coming from
3. shocks/ suspension arms need replacing
4. 2 speed gears are stripped

and some other minor problems i would probly have to buy new screws..
is this worth keeping and fix it up if i ever have the money for it? or should i just sell it

i dunno if i wanna selll it and i dont know how much it would be worth with damages so I'm not looking to sell atm sorry

ok an hpi 2 speed is $70 then theres the engine which will be somewhere near $100-$200 maybe lower. it may be somewhere near or higher than $50 to fix the shock towers etc.. PM ME i got an os .12 CV MAX that i dont use nomore.

I think he means the 2 speed spurs, not the whole 2 speed so your talking like 8 bucks, the A-Arms depending on if all need to be replaced, maybe like 16 to 20 bucks, the shocks unless they are broken, only probably need to be cleaned up and refilled. Now the motor is a different story, but if it's an old 15FE you can get a replacement from HPI for a 100, but if it's just a beater car, you probably can get away for less. Good luck.

to fix it cost would be

hpi t-15 engine $70
shocks $15
arms $10
gears $8
screws and other small stuff $10
so that comes to $120-150 depending on were u get the parts imo i would keep it and fix it

nitro13,

I would go with what RandyT said and send back the 15fe and for 100 bucks get another mill, id recommend the hpi nitrostar .12 xs but u will need a new header + starter box too. its rated @ 1.35 hp

dont you guys read what is in my sig or look at the pictures???!?!

jeeze :x

If its permanently retired just sell it to me!:wedgie:

bah i should chnage that.... cause i might fix it up when i get money

no we usually dont pay attention to that stuff

Since its old how about $35 and you can keep the engine.

Well, I think you should just cut the loss and sell the RS4. The money and time you would spend to get it up and running would probably be more than buying a new onroad.

I am not a big fan of HPI products, except for the savage, so I would suggest something more upgradeable such as the NTC3. If you plan to race, the NTC3 is also a good starter car for the beginner but is also at home in a parking lot.
