I have had Dynamite/Losi shocks on my maxx for over 10 years without a single problem. I used Trinity blue monster springs and rpm dual stage pistons and it has worked great for me for all these years. But the Traxxas big bores are good shocks too, I just prefer the threaded shafts and adjustability of the Dynamite shocks.

Yeah I would prefer threaded shafts too. Racer 1966 I'm pretty sure I saw Pro-Line PowerStrokes at my friends rc store. I say rc store instead of hs because his store is only rc nitro. ;)

Threaded or Piggyback Threaded Shocks, can be found on ebay...

I run integy on my 4907 and LOVE them, so dont go downing me for integy but they fit perfect and work excellent for the way I jump n bash, nothing broken yet... but yeah ebay has all differnt brands and styles...

Traxxas big bores are the best for abuse. Threaded shocks are great for tuning rock crawlers. But, I found tuning with springs and valving to be the best on my T-Maxx.
