Do I have to put in 90 to 100 shock oil in the integey shocks the or can I put lighter oil in them

You can use a lighter oil in the shocks. I typically use 40k oil in my Revo's TiN shocks.

I would recommend that you do yourself a favor and get a better quality shock. Integy does not make the best shock in the world. I can tell this from personal experience with their shocks.

Ya like hamz said, integy does not make quality products, I too purchased a set of their shocks, they leaked like crazy and almost every run the threaded caps popped off!

How much of an upgrade are the Traxxas TiN over stock? I've already changed oil and springs to my liking. Now adding the Variable damping pistons for better rebound.

The inside of the shock body is teflon coated and the shafts are Nitride treated titanium.

Are those the same as the ones Hamz recommended? Some people list the stock Revo shocks as the upgrades. I get confused over which is the Real McCoy.

"These are Teflon coated shocks with the TiN titanium gold shafts" this is the description its pulled from a revo 5309 so i guessed it not an upgrade,but if you check amainhobbies description its the same...Hmmmmmm

But versus the integy, i might as well get the traxxas shock

I think the Revo Platinum comes stock with the upgraded GTR shocks.

I really wish I wrote down what I put on my revo. I have the better of the two types of shocks and the variable rate shock kit. I'm running the pistons with the smallest holes and I think 40 weight, along with P2 rockers. Makes for a really good bashing combo that suits what I do very well.

The stock shocks on a 5309 are the upgraded shocks the older revo came with different shocks
