I'm new to the 4x4 nitro game....and with my new revo 3.3, i have a few questions about my suspension.
#1 I installed the LT rockers and stiffer springs, but it sagged so low and was soo soft, i couldnt use it...so i rebuilt the shocks with 60# oil, better, but not great....any suggestions?

#2 What are the advantages/disadvantages of the LT arms? am i better of running the standard rockers?

#3 i bought the RPM true tack rear, and front end, havent installed them yet, should i wait till i break the stock ones, or will i notice a big difference installing them now?

#4 How are these stock wheels/tires for setting this truck up for race trim?

#5 any other suggestions to make this thing beat the hell out of all my friends Tmaxx's ????!!!!!!!!

Thanks in advance, I look forward to contributing as much as i can in the future !!!

did you use the stock LT springs that came with the truck ??...i ordered the stiffer ones for the LT ...works great .....i use the stock LT spring with the P2 rockers ..you could try that

the LT rockers will just give it more suspension travel ...will sometimes make the chassis hit the ground if you jump to hard ...i have 2 revos ...one with LT and stiffest springs ...and one with P2 rockers and stock LT springs ...to be honest , i dont see much diff when driving it

yes i used the stock LT spings with the LT rockers....i will convert it back to the P2 rockers tomorrow..with the LT springs, and hopefully with the thicker shock oil, it will actually work the way it should. Thanks for the input.

Well, i'm running 50 weight oil, variable damping shock kit with #1 disks, P2 rockers/rods, pink springs on front and blue on rear. Seems to do pretty good but I may up it to 60 weight. I was running normal 2 hole #2 disks, I think they were stock in a revo platinum. I bought the nice hard anno'd shocks with tini shafts off ebay for a song. I opted to keep the oil stock and drop one size smaller hole when installing the VDS.

The VDS blocks two holes on compression and opens them up on decompression. This allows for maximum damping off a jump, but quick rebound once it lands.

I'm not sure I'll go up to 60 weight, but I may give it a try. May just cause me to break ball ends.

Prior to the VDS, everything was the same except the internal disks being #2. It was noticeably more bouncy on the rough stuff since it didn't rebound very fast. Now it cruises through rough stuff much better and doesn't slap so hard off of jumps.

i was trying to find the variable rate dampening kit....but no luck. Is it a traxxas part # or aftermarket ? It sounds like exactly what I'm looking for.
