How long are your shocks, and what are they on? My Speed-NT has 3.5 inch shocks, but I want shorter shocks. If I had 3 inch shocks, I think it would be about as low as I want it. I would then still have the ground clearance, but then I could also have a lower CoG, and better aerodynamics. The SNT isn't really made for jumping, and more for on-road, or smooth dirt, rather than off-road. What I'd really like to do, is narrow the truck too. Shorter A-arms and cv shafts you be nice.

the easyest way to lower a shock that has springs is to put a zip-tie through 3-4 coils on each side. what is so neet you can reverse it easly. saw a pic of a guys jato, he had replaced the front shocks with turnbuckles. i did that to my, jato it cornered much better.

I don't want ghetto shocks. I could take the shocks apart and put fuel line in them too, but I don't want to.

is that how you respond to a cat thats trying to help? have i been mean to you? iam sorry if i have. if my son treated me like that, i would tell him to respect his elders.

You haven't been mean to me, but, you gave me crappy advice. I don't appreciate that. Take it elsewhere.

If you son tells you that, and you tell him to "respect his elders", again, that's crappy advice. I respect those who have earned respect. Period. Nobody deserves respect just because they are old. I raise my teens to respect people who have earned it, and not because they demand it.

I have seen the coils zip tied but I would never do that unless I had no other choice. It looks like a chop job and they can come un-done. Just not a good way of doing business if you ask me. I think there are MUCH better ways of doing it rather than zip-ties. SNG has a pretty good idea on the shocks. If you go the route of internal spacers do yourself a favor and use plastic line like fish tank air hose because the fuel line ends up crushed up and then your ride is sitting all crooked. I would try the internal spacers first....try a few lengths...see which you like best then you can either leave it like that or measure them and find some shocks with that same length. Oh yeah and Alien you can tell me to get bent if ya wanna...I don't take it personal;)

i use bushings or throttle collars in my shocks to lower them the bushings hold up better then plastic or fuel lines can also use the lil red washers on the turnbuckles of the revo that
come with rocker arms

Well, if nothing else, you could try the ziptie method just to see how you like it. Then you end up knowing what you really want in a shock length/limiter.
