my savage has the slider type adjusments for he shocks. would threaded aluminum shocks provide a performance advantage over them? i would assume so. and if they do are the factory hpi or the integy shocks a better investment. ill be doing a lil bit of racing but mostly bashing.

There is no performance advantage with threaded shocks. It's just a matter of convenience.

I would NOT suggest getting the Integy Piggybacks! They are poop, plain and simple. I had a set on both my Savage and Revo and on both rigs, had shafts bend or outright break on the slightest of jumps or bumps. Furthermore, when I contacted Integy for warranty information and to seek the process for getting a replacement, they were terribly rude and arrogant.

Nothing personal TOPDOGG, but I'll slam my pecker in a car door before I buy ANYTHING from Integy! I hope those assholes all go out of business and end up grubbing for quarters down at the bus station!

To be quit hounest stock shocks are your best bet, My exp. with aluminum they are not worth it, bend easy as hell..... I had HB threaded, junk.....

stick with the stockers...4 gallons on 1 set and 3 on another...never had an issue. definitely stay away from the piggybacks, they looks great, but tend to fold under the slightest load.

cool. thanks for the advice and saving me the money.
