Hey all i jsut got my shocks i bought from skip and I'm oiling them up and its a b@#$@#. It wouldnt be so bad except for they keep leaking out the lower part os the piggyback. BTW these are the LST Integy piggyback shocks. Have any of you put these kind together before? if so how did you do it and did you have this problem

-^--Its leaking here, not sure if this is helping at all. Sorry, hope you guys can help me.

Well Nick, just so happens that these are similar to the MSR4 shocks I bought from you, right? I'm still reworking those, but aren't they supposed to have an o-ring on the cap on that end? I noticed with the couple that I have built that sometimes it seems that the caps are all the way on when they aren't. I used pliers gently on those caps to make sure they were fully seated. I'd at least start by checking there.

I had them as tight as i could get them i tightened them with a small pair of vise grips and that still leaked, so the i remembered i had bought a variety of sizes of o ring gasket kinda seal things a while back and i put one of those on that fit the right size and it didnt leak any more, so i guess thats the soluiton is a bigger o-ring than the one it came with. i only have 2 of the same size so i guess I'm going to the advanced autoparts store sometime to pick some more up. sorry for the start of this thread i found out about the bigger o ring after i had posted. Just my openion these things arent designed all that well but what do i know. do you think i could buy some new regular caps so their like standard lst shocks or do you think the threads wouldnt match? Ill probably jsut leave them the way they are tho, I'm still gonna look into it tho if these things dont quit leaking withthe bigger o-ring. Something like this insted of the piggyback would that work? http://h1069802.hobbyshopnow.com/products/description.asp?prod=LOSB2802
