Hey. I'm looking for some really nice shocks for bashing. No price range. I will get what i need if they are that good.

The Unlimited Engineering shocks are excellent for bashing, and you only really need 4. They are like $67 or something, and they kick ass. I hear the proline powerstroke shocks are fairly nice as well, but about double the price.

i was looking at the powerstroks, but i might want to cheek out the U.E. ones. Really i just herd of U.E. yesterday.

Yeah, they are a pretty big company, yet no one has heard of them! The UE shocks are just ofna Buggy shocks. But they really get the job done, even on heavy trucks.

The UE shocks are OFNA 9.5 buggy shocks. I swear by the UE shocks. I run 4 on my savage. I ran 4 on my sport maxx and 4 on my XTM converted 21 maxx when I had it. Really good for bashing.

i have heard alot of good things about the UE shocks. i use the traxxas big bores and have alot of bad jumps and bumps. i have yet to replace one thing one them since i got them about.......7 months ago.

You will not be disapointed with the UE shocks. They are totally solid shocks, and with the included dust shield thing, you will not be rebuilding any time soon!

ok great. But if i only run for do i keep the stock shocks as well. Ho does that work? also i need help on how to fill the shocks. I done it one, but forgot. and the link i posted are they the right shocks?

Yeah those are the right shocks in the link. You only run those 4 shocks. You do not need the stock shocks unless u want a backup set, but you wont really need them. The 4 shocks work perfectly. They include instructions on how to assemble the shocks.

so insted of 8 i run 4 shocks o my car with 80 silicone oil?

oh happy hallmark day i guess

You can use any weight oil you want, it takes a few different trys with different weight oils and different springs, but you will get it. I bought my UE shocks off of ebay for $60 and they included a rebuild kit. I have no idea what weight oil is in the shocks, but I'm guessing around 90-100. Those things bearly move. But when they get on the truck, I'm sure it will be fine, if not, time for new oil!

Waste of money....don't get aluminum A-arms for bashing...they break more parts when you crash.....it may take more to break em but when they go they take half your front end w/ em........the Big bore shocks are awsome for bashing...the OFNA 9.5 rear buggy shocks are the same as the UE supershocks......find em on e-bay for about $25 a pair....80 weight oils sounds high....but I don't jump real big stuff w/ only 4 shocks.....not saying you can't, I just feel better w/ 8......

IMO, running more than 50 with the UE shocks was too much. It makes the truck bouncy. It was worse on my savage with 55 weight than it was on my maxx for some reason. Might have been the geometry of the arms and whatnot, but it really handled like crap.

I changed to 30 weight (mixx of 20 and 40 50/50... it's all I had) while useing the navy blue springs that came with the UE shocks and now it rides likes it's on pillows. Firm enough for stable handling, soft enough for rough terrain and 6-10 foot jumps.

There arent any on ebay at the moment. If you really want some, just order them from UE. They have super fast shipping and great customer service.
