Shock upgrade.

Saw these on ebay. Anyone have any info on them ? I'm looking for the ultimate 1/8 scale buggy shock. Thanks.

Sorry, no information. It has been my experience though that those things look pretty but are usually more trouble than they are worth. By those, I mean the piggy back dampener. In theory, they are great...but I have never used them...so I can not really speak from personal experience.

I do know that the Mugen shocks from the MBX-5 are very beefy. I used them on my Savage when I had it. They took everything I could dish out. I am even considering outfitting the GS Storm Pro that I have with a set...since I demolished the shocks on it the last time I bashed it....of course, I destroyed a lot on that particular buggy and have a bit of work to rebuild it ahead of me.

Agree with you on the Mugens, I already have them on my Storm PRO. Is there something else out there superior to the Mugens?
