i try to search but came up empty, i have the old 1.5 t maxx. i broke my front shock tower today doing some ups. i was wondering if the 2.5/3.3 will fit my truck. thanks for the help.

Yes, the new style towers will fit the truck but you will need the new style square body posts to fit the new towers.

thanks for the help, They look to be better design then the original, i will order them now

They do look stronger than the round body posts. But, seeing as the square shaped body posts will be less likely to bend, wouldnt this cause the stock square hole shock tower to break more easily? Just wondering. I've got aluminum GH towers, but they are the older style with the round body posts, and I just use the Pro-line round body posts.

Actually, now that I think of it, it was kinda hard to find replacement body posts for the old towers. You should definately go for the newer style towers and body posts.

i had this same problem lol and when i went to my lhs and they looked at mine like i had a dinosaur i have the .15 that i converted to the 3.3 now

I just traded in my GH round body post towers for the newer style towers and it makes a huge difference. The 3.3/Revo style body posts are much stronger than the old 2.5's.
