This is my buddie's T Maxx. We are having a problem with the shocks. The shaft keeps coming unscrewed from the bottom cap. Here is a couple pics.

So replace the rod end and put a smidgen of Teflon tape on the threads.

Don't know about the teflon tape, but I doubt it's "backing" out by turning. More than likely is being ripped out from bad landings/cartwheels. Once it is ripped out, then it will continually come out more easily each time.

Ball ends are cheap. Get a bag and replace it.

You could maybe get a heavier duty end that would maybe be less likely to expand and strip. I ran some HD ones from pro-line back in the day. They had more material around where the screw went into the end.

Can't find them now though...
