I was read in a few other sites about adding shock limiters. can someone explain how exactly i can go about doing this.

thanks

On 1:1 cars a shock limiter is usually fabricated out of heavy gauge cable with an eyelet on each end (think truck tailgate cable) and the length of the cable is just shy of the fully extended length of the shock. The cable is attached between the control arm/axle and the frame and keeps the shock from fully extending on jounce.

For an R/C I would think you could easily make them a short length of fine cable or metal guitar string or something and then crimp small eyelets on the end of them and attach to your rig as mentioned above.

Thanks for the replies
NCnitro and Matt

I am fairly new to RC trucks so i just want to make sure i have this correct I attached a picture of the shocks from the manual
Looking at figure 2 in the attached photo does the piece of fuel line go inside the shock part which holds the oil around the shaft so it will limit how far the shaft can extend by hitting the piece of fuel line?
If this is correct how big should i make the pieces of fuel line to insert into the shock?
It is for a nitro monster king.

thanks again
