Are you in the USA? Isn’t the input voltage 120V?
Good catch man! They sent me the wrong model and I hadnt even noticed. Wouldnt of taken to long to figure out once I started using it but that would have been this weekend.

OK everyone, just imagine the same PSU but pretend it says 110V lol.

I guess I'm about to find out if AliExpresses buyer protection is worth a crap lol

You can send it to me, we have 240V mains here. :)

3000W PSU, that’s next level!

So, it turns out that it is a 110V capable unit. When I put in for a refund the seller messged me last night and said that it was a 110VAC unit and it was just mislabeled. I gave it a go today and sure enough it works so I'm all good!

Gotta have next level in order to charge at 9C rates on both channels lol

That’s great news, I’m sure the returns process would have been cumbersome. I don’t know that charger, but it’s capable of charging at 40A on each port? And you’re charging those batteries at 8C? Again, next level confirmed.

Edit. I see each port is set to 45A, 9C for those batteries? 😯

Looks like a Nintendo. 🤣🤯

Keep it up and all the Tesler owners will harass you for a fast charger. šŸ˜

Yeah 9C, and the Liperiors took it like a champ! They were mildly warm after, but not nearly as warm as I thought they might be. The battery connectors were the thing that got the hottest, and while they were very warm, it was not so much so that I was concerned theyd fail or anything.

The charger is an iCharger 456 Duo. 45 meaning 45A per channel, and the 6 meaning it can do up to 6S lipos. They make a 458 and a 4512 for 8S and 12S capability. They had older series that look the same but a little less powerful, like the 40X and 30X lines. Those have all been discontinued, but sometimes you still see them floating around.

iChargers are some of the best chargers on the market, and they have other models that are still powerful, but not 45A units. The DX6 or DX8 for example. Both awesome dual channel chargers and still capable of 30A/channel if memory serves. I also own an X6 and an X8 which are small dinky little single channel 30A chargers. 800W and 1100W respectively.

Man and I thought I had a fast charger and it can only do 6 amps!

I added a simple on/off switch for the PSU and I also decided it would be a more solid connection to put ring connectors on the 8AWG power wires.
