I need a small sheet (8x8) of like .60 lexan. Where can i get a piece online? :hammer:

I'm not sure if I got some but I can check. I know I have some just not sure of how thick.. Ill let ya know..If I got some, just cover the shipping and its yours..

Alright, thanks imbroken. I'm building a new radio box for me savage...

Home depot sells nice thick sheets for what you want to do...pretty cheap too....I think I got a big sheet and the scoreing tool for less than 10 bucks a year ago.....the tool works great too....

I looked and couldnt find lexan when i was there. I'm going to use a dremal with the diamond blade to cut it...

you will never get an easier edge than w/ the scoring tool...they're like 2bucks and well worth it.....the dremel won't follow a T-square or edge as easy as the scoring will.....it won't look like clear sheets of lexan cause they have brown paper on it to keep it from getting scratched....I asked for lexan and they said they don't carry it, then I asked for thick plastic sheets and they knew what I meant.....remember Home depot does not hire the educated workers they used to.......

Remember you DONT want acrilic(sp). Lexan and poly will wend, the other will bend then snap.

Yup, psunitro is right. LEXAN (polycarbonate) is the sh*t. We have sheets of it, 1/2 inch thick, where I work. The stuff is damn near indestructable. I have often thought of making, or having someone make a chassis out of it. Very pricey, especially at 1/2 inch thickness.
