Well, well, well...
I just can't seem to keep from doing a little nosing around to see what makes things work. It seems me in my brightness has royally screwed something up with my controller. The carburator closes all the way when I use the brake, thus shutting down the motor. I got to messing with the throtle setting, wound up in the brake and who knows what else I fouled up. The front tires moved when I tried to accel, and now the transmission will not shift. Does anyone have an idea of the settings that will get me somewhere back in the ballfield? I reset to factory defaults and it is A.F.U. This one may have to be taken to the l.h.s. to fork over some cash to keep my sanity!!
Any help would be great:surrender

Well... you could bite the bullet and read the manual...

What radio is it? The JR XS3?

Manual

The JR radio's aren't that hard to setup for basic stuff. Look at servo revsersing, EPA's (end point adjustments) and model select (it stores up to 6 trucks worth of settings)

just thought i would let you know i'm having the same problems and everything has been so jumpy and messed up since a rescent rebuild. can't figure it out either even with the manual. good luck

You definitely need to manually set your idle screw. No matter what you did on the radio, you shouldn't be able to shut your carb with the brake trigger.
After that's done, go through the manual, adjust your end points etc, just to see how it works. Once you understand how simple it really is, you can make spot adjustments at the track.

hey try putting all trim settings to neutral and then just adjust from there to what looks right to your eye that is what i do and i ve never has any problems so far!!! (9 years)

neutral is 0 just in case you didnt know

sometimes you may even need to make it so full throttle is trigger all the way back, dont set trim for big trottle set it for throttle response

also try adjusting your throttle and brake linkages, this can also make a big difference and help with ease of setting trim!!!
