I dont know anything about the stock servos' but 995's are CHEAP and are 208oz at 6v....and CHEAP!

MG995's are crap. I got a 2 of them a few months ago. Both lasted maybe 5 weekends on my T-Maxx. One burned crispy, and on the other one the pots came loose, and it was glitching like crazy. And the tabs are are weak. They break really easy. Don't waste your money on these servos. I learned the hard way. Oh, and by the way, they are advertised as "digital/coreless servos". They're not

Save some money and get some good, brand name servos. I use a Hitec 525MG for throttle/brake, and a Hitec 645MG for steering

I've ran 995's and 996 and many applications, one being a tmaxx, one a slash (still running one on a slash right now), many crawlers, scalers and other 1/10th bashers and have had perfect luck with them, they are iffy though i will give you that, some work for ever, some burn out fast, but they are 2 for $23 shipped, its definatly worth a try in my opinion. I've burned up more 645's that 995's personally.

Glad you had luck with your 995's slowgreen, don't jinx it!!. Me, I won't buy them anymore. Once was enough. Oh, and I forgot to mention, the 525MG I have is 4 years old. I had it first on my TC3, then on my XXX-NT, then on my GS Storm, and now is on my T-Maxx. It did busted a ball bearing recently, but it was an easy fix. Is still going.

Guessing that's your throttle/brake servo? I'd move the stock steering servo to the t/b then get a hitec 985MG for steering. It's a great servo and not real costly. Also, it's sealed pretty well with o-rings on the screws, case and output shaft. Whenever I buy new servos, those are what I buy and they last a long time. I have two, on in my aftershock for t/b and savage for t/b. Both are more than a couple years old and still work just as they did when new. Been through a few wet winters with them and not a problem.
