I'd say either will work well. Digital are nicer because they're more precise. Just make sure you get a servo that gives you some brutal torque. Those big wheels take a lot of muscle to turn.

yep...i have to change the servo to a better one.......lost my turning power after i put 40 size beadlocks on with big joe tires

hey plaid......what does that servo cost ? sounds like a goodin.......my steering servo went out at the race friday & the only one i had was a extra servo for one of my planes.......not too good for a steering servo but it did let me finnish the race at least even though i didnt win........finnished up 4th....

they're about 110 bucks but I figured if I had bought one in the beginning instead of cooking 3 $50 servos I'd be better off now.
I've stuck with that because it was the first one recommended to me that lasts and works, but I'll probably try the airtronics servos next just to try something else.
I've heard good about the high end
KO Propo
Airtronics
& JR so you're pretty safe w/ any of those brands' digital high end stuff. alot more up front but like my pop always taught me "buy once, but buy well"

i think 110$ aint so bad since i done went through 4 servos for steering at 50$ apeice.......got a link to where i can get one ? i prefer the jr brand.......
