10kg = 352 ounces.

Yes it will turn them, but i suggest buying 5 of them as they may not last too long.
I use to sell the MG995's all the time here in the US.

I use two Futaba S3305's

They say NiCd only, but my 6v 1600 hump pack does just fine :) and the spline is the same on the Futaba's as HPI.

$32.99 may seem a bit spendy, but sometimes you can find Futaba servos on sale...

I think the last two I picked up were less than $60.00 and they seem to last. My braking on my 4.6 is insane :) it will easily do front flips if I don't use the ABS on my radio.

WRONG! 10kg/cm = 139oz/in

That is more than stock but IMO it's still short of what you need on a Savage. I prefer something around the 200oz/in mark. The S3305 isn't a good choice either IMO

The stock steering servo works well for throttle duty.

I'm not sure that's right. It's 10kg/cm, which according to this torque converter is 138.9oz/in.

So, to answer the question is it strong enough, I'd say no. I'd shoot for 150oz/in (10.8kg/cm) or more.

I really like the hitec 985MG. 172oz/in, sealed pretty well including an o-ring on the output shaft. I use one of these for steering on my revo and t/b on both my revo and my savage.
