Stock servo (Traxxas) can be rebuilt or replaced. Is one choice inherently better than the other? Is the stock Servo kinda crappy?

Thanks, Mudslinger, I went out to my LHS and asked about HiTEC servos. They had a HS-645MG ultra-torque servo in stock. Gears are metal so we'll see how long it lasts.

I must have had one hell of a curb-shot, because when I was replacing the servo I noticed that one of my tie-rods is slightly bent. I can work it out so it's not a big deal, but that might be where I upgrade next.

the 645 is a good servo. you shouldnt have any problems with it, unless you hit something else :p:
