Yes you can. Hell i use the 2075 on throttle brake myself. Faster stronger servo means better throttle response.
 
I have a 2055 mounted as a throttle and brake, on my beater rig right now. It is working fine. I do usually only run high torque on steering and throttle but I broke mine last week.:D
 
A lot of people do that with their t-maxx or revo's. They ditch the stock throttle servo, move the steering servo (or one of them in the case of the revo) to t/b and buy a stronger/faster one for steering.
