servo saver

Hey guys my kid has a 2.5 tmaxx and I need to replace the steering servo. Question is do I need to use the servo saver or is there a better way to set this up? If I need to use the servo saver, which replacement saver is recommended?

When I had my 2.5 I used this one. Everyone recommended it.

The Kimbrough above is pretty good, I believe people are putting the new set up from the 3.3 Maxx in. I believe it takes very little modification if any to work.
