Servo saver

This is a rather weak servo (37 oz-in torque). What are you using it in/for?

I would recommend an appropriate servo saver, but need to know the use and what RC you are putting it in.

I am putting it in a 1/12th scale carpet knife.so it doesn't have to be very strong to turn the wheels.

It certainly might.

My question for you would be, based on your application why even get a servo saver. If all you have is a 1/12 carpet knife, you may not need to even worry about a servo saver. Most of the time a servo saver is for serious jolts to the steering that might damage the servo.

Is this thing nitro? Do you race it soley on carpet?

I think i am going to try that one.It needs a servo saver so when i run into the boards i dont break the servo. It is electric and i will only run it on a carpet track.

Get a servo saver for sure. One good scrub on the walls could break the nylon gears. Skymaxx is a little tough on his stuff and indoor on-road racing is out of his vocab. If it aint 20ft in the air he pretty much wants nothing to do with it. You wouldda thought he was in the airforce.

This is a knife Sky

they are quick, can be hard to see they are so quick and can make for servo breaking impacts.

No problemo. Just wanted to make certain he wasn't adding unnecessary weight to the little speedster. I did not think about the possibility of side impacts with the boards.

So, yes. Go with the servo saver.

correction to my above post that servo has metal gears but I would use it anyway period.
