I need good steering servo recommendation for my tmaxx. Something that will turn my wheel at the slowest motion. I'm sic and tire of the servo in there. it barely turn the wheel. I want some turning power. what do you guys recommend ?

Need to know a price range.

Ya I'd say the highest torque servo you can afford, preferably with metal gears. I went with the Traxxas 2075 as its only 40 bucks but I didn't notice a huge difference from the 2055 at 80oz vs 125oz. Make sure you're using a hump pack also...

Personally I would not even consider a servo with less than 200oz of torque at 6V for steering in a monster truck.

X2 with Robmob, those are big wide tires and wheels and a heavy rig.

Also, you may want to upgrade your steering assembly if you have a servo mounted saver. Getting a chassis mounted saver with bearings puts much more of the servos power to your wheels.

I'd vote for the hitec 985MG as a middle of the road for $ servo. Decent torque and speed. Slapped my revo wheels around without a problem.

I'm interested...Can somebody post a link to a chassis mounted saver that works on the Maxx?

Just installed the parts you mentioned and they seem to work great, thanks for the tip. I have noticed that my servo moves a little farther in one direction than it does in the other. Thats without being hooked up to the linkage...any ideas why that would happen?

What radio do you have? If it's the traxxas radio... I don't know why. If it's a radio that has EPA's (servo end point adjustment), then I'd adjust it using that.
