Ok guys I am having one hell of a time here.
I need to hook up the brake linkage on my prospec...The problem is I have no clearance under the servo horn...To hook up the front brake link????
Its a hitec 5645 servo...Do they make a horn that is taller?

Imbroken sent me pics of his set up...And his servo horn sits up higher then mine does...I dont get it....

Ugh, just ran into similar situation with my LSP. Check for an aftermarket horn that might be taller or I found a kit that had a bunch of different horns in it for a specific brand servo in the plane section of my LHS. I also got the Dynamite Throttle/Brake linkage kit.

I looked at stacking them..Can't do it!
The front brake linkage Is sitting dam near the top of the diff.

I have a package of hitec horns and none of them work...

Thanks Dom I bought it and will see if it works..
I really want to brake this thing in!!!!

I've got the one from the Storm RTR on mine; it uses inserts and sits a little higher than the one pictured. I can't find a part number for it. I'm sure the Dynamite one for the Storm would fit just fine.

I snapped a quick pic of my Dynamite set up. I still had to bend the rear brake rod upwards so that the ball cup would clear the center diff brace. But you can see how the taller Dynamite servo horn provides plenty of clearance for the lower slider.

Thats what I am looking for..Your the man Dom....

Yep that dynamite set up is nice, I'm having no problems with an hitec servo though, I'm using the provided red horn, works ok, though you have to grind down the top of the sever a tad in order to provide clearance for the silver end.

My clearance is very minimal. I'm running the servo horn that came with the Airtronics servo.

After seeing that Dynamite setup, I just ordered one... Thanks Dom...

I had the same problem as Zandor. The standard hitec red 4-arm horn has just enough clearance if you use the thinner 2 arms (looking horizontally), trim off the other 2.

It might be worth considering the TT EB4-S3 style of setup where both brake levers sit above the diff brace.

Problem with that is the Prospec center diff sits low on the chassis, and linkage binding is a problem. Even with the horn I'm using, I had to put a slight bow in the linkage to prevent binding. The other issue is the end of the linkage hitting the fuel tank & splash guard when it is installed at the end of the horn. I had to move the linkage in one hole from the end of the horn.. I was hoping to use the Ofna Hyper 7 PCR linkage with the cup & ball style throttle/brake levers, but there was a problem with that too... I tried it.. I do recall Mugen provided different size spacers to raise or lower the throttle/brake servo, so you might want to look in the manual for that.. I'll see if I can find it..

**Update**
The spacers I was thinking of are for the steering servo, so it does not pertain to the throttle/brake servo. Sorry..

Ya i was looking at the spacers Too.
But no go there...I also took the linkage of my PCR No go there eather...
I hope the one SD posted works right...
And as you said TJ the end of the rods hit the tank..
This thing is just a PITA....

Might be hard to see..but here is how i did mine.
