I had a thread a while back on servo grommets in another thread, but i never really got a good answer. What i'd like to know is, does any one here use them??? I've heard some people say that they're the best thing to prevent from servo tab breakage, and others say that they cause slop because they're rubber. I just need your opninions. Use em, or not.

If you don't know what a grommet is, it's a rubber peice that fits inside the servo tab mounting hole (the place where the screw would go) and is suppose to prevent cracks from forming and breaking the tabs by isolating the servofrom the mount.

Use them it helps. Thats all I have to say.

I use them. They act as a dampener against chassis vibration, and actually help keep the servo stable.

Ok thanks!!!!! All i heard was good thinga bout them, the only bad stuff i heard was from a moderator at the traxxas forums... nuff said. Thanks for the help fellas, now i can put my servos in

LOL...the TRAXXAS Forum mods strike again. Aren't you glad you came here and asked for help? :D

as always yes. That's why i don't post in the traxxas forums anymore. I actually had asked this question a few months back at the trxxas place, everyone that answered had only good things to say EXCEPT you know who. I decided not to listen to them though. Well anyways back to the topic, i installed my servos with the new grommets and they seem very stable.
