I did a serch but could not find what i was looking for:normal: .

Which kind of servo connector do i need for a stock savage .25?

J type or jr?

Also what all do i need for instraling a jrxs3 radio?(everything reciver, crystals, etc)?

Thanx bandit

JRXS3 has no crystals. When you buy the radio it comes with a receiver. All you need to do is to replace the stock receiver in your savage and plug in the new one. (You may have to trim the little tab off the existing servo plugs to fit the RS3000 receiver) Then read your manual for the radio cover to cover then once more for good measure and your good to go.

I beleive it comes with Servos as well. But I doubt they are any stronger than the stock Savage 25 servos.

Ya i know you pick your channel digitaly but on my stock storm i still have a set of crystals.

And what type of connector do i need?

If you are planning on using the RS3000 receiver that comes witht he radio there is no need for crystals at all.

But since you keep asking I'm assuming you are trying to use an XS3 Synth Radio with a Non-Synth receiver using a standard crystal. You can try this but I had no luck at all. The closest I got was a very glitchy run no more than 5 feet away from me.

Some info:
1) All XS3 radios are FM based
2) There are two flavors, 27Mhz and 75Mhz. You will need to find out which of the two you have.
3) The channels on the radio and the frequencies of standard crystals dont always match up exactly. There is a chart in the back of the manual that give you frequency numbers for each channel.
4) I dont know what kind of receiver you currently have so I have no idea what type of connectors you need. The RS3000 that comes with the XS3 uses either Hitec, Futaba J, or JR type connectors. any of the three should work you may just have to cut the tab off.

So.... getting back on topic...you will need to make sure the existing receiver in your Storm is an FM receiver on the correct frequency (27 or 75) then check the frequency of the crystal in the receiver against the chart in the back of the manual to select the correct channel in the radio. Then finally make sure you to test all electrics at range BEFORE you start your engine.

Like I said, I tried this already and it did not work for me. Maybe you will have better luck.

thanks for all the helpfull feedback
