I am having a hell of a time with mid tank lean on my revo. I don't run a wing so a second tank would be hard to mount, would a large fuel filter help me out?

Take the fuel line and cut it short enough to run straight from tank to carb. Get rid of all that excess line and it helps on the mid tank lean issue.

Mmm. It helped mine. Also i did get the 150cc tank as well and i run it completely empty and dont notice any leaning at all.

You may want to check for any air leaks also. Tank seal carb neck seal and backplate. Also make sure your exhaust boot isnt split. The flanged header is notorious for cutting through the blue boot connecting the pipe.

if you have to replace the exhaust rubbers get black ones, they last longer for some reason.

I have sealed the motor back plate carb and pinch bolt, as well as used rtv on the exhaust manifold as the stock black gasket that came with my motor would not fit in the stock trx header. I have a brand new 150 cc tank, and fuel line as well. There are also no tears in the exhaust coupler... This is so frustrating lol.

Well a secondary tank may be your only other option. Try to find the smallest one you can and mount it on top of the receiver box in front of the stock tank.

Have you checked the O-Rings on the fuel cap? Sometimes when they're worn they can cause a mid-tank lean.

What pipe are you running?

Maybe you could richen the hsn. A well tuned engine will run rich for a couple minutes until it warms up.

i did this. got a check valve no. S756 from sullivan, and a tee fitting. put the check valve next to the muffler to hold the pressure in the fuel tank. then plug one hole in the tee fitting with JB-weld, and drill a hole in the JB-weld about ,035-.0045. to bled of only some pressure. this stableizes the pressure in the fuel tank.

I just picked up a roller with a 250cc tank mounted to it. Is the ofna tank a solutionn thats being used frequently?
